Role Description The Assistant Project Manager is a full-time role based in South Florida. This position supports project planning, scheduling, procurement, and coordination activities for floating solar installations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking material orders, expediting deliveries, coordinating logistics with vendors and subcontractors, assisting with site inspections, and maintaining accurate project documentation. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with senior project managers and field teams to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves preparing status reports, communicating updates to stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement of project processes and procedures. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in expediting and experience as an expeditor to support timely delivery of materials and equipment. Candidates should possess project management skills, including scheduling, task coordination, and basic budgeting capabilities. Candidates should possess inspection-related skills, including familiarity with construction quality checks and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should possess logistics management skills to coordinate transportation, warehousing, and site deliveries. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients. Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, project scheduling tools); experience with construction or solar industry software is a plus. Ability to work on-site at project locations, occasionally visit job sites, and support field operations as needed. Relevant education in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
