Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room - Travel/Contract - Local Candidates Accepted!

Registered Nurse (RN) operating room travel/contract position in Greensboro, NC for 13 weeks. Provide perioperative nursing care, support surgical teams, and ensure patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate pre‑operative and post‑operative patient assessments.

• Prepare the operating room, ensuring sterile equipment and supplies are available.

• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures, intervening as needed.

• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to execute surgical plans.

• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution.

• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.

• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital‑based nursing experience.

• Prior surgical or perioperative experience preferred.

• Strong electronic documentation skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work multiple shifts and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
