Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments and detailed evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide vital intraoperative support, from preparing operating rooms to ensuring proper patient positioning and managing surgical instruments
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and educational support for patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgery are highly preferred

Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
