Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid and current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education laws, and eligibility criteria
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and develop detailed reports to support IEP and 504 eligibility
• Provide direct counseling and interventions for students to support their academic and social-emotional success
• Serve as a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, collaborating with educators, families, and outside providers
• Consult with teachers and staff regarding behavioral, academic, and mental health concerns
• Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute expertise to the development of appropriate educational strategies
• Support crisis intervention and contribute to safe school climates
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines
