Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Oregon

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour Shift (07:00 - 17:30), with variable times for Day/Swing shifts available between 07:00 to 01:00.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The candidate will operate advanced ultrasound equipment, perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, and have the ability to perform OB ultrasounds. This role demands compassionate patient care and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdomen and obstetric scans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment effectively.
• Document findings accurately in the charting system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Bachelor's degree in Sonography is preferred.
• A minimum of four years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist with travel experience.
• Active BLS certification from the AHA.
• Current Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI), either permanent or temporary.
• Registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN.
• Epic charting experience is mandatory.
