Role Summary This position involves providing direct nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, focusing on patient advocacy, assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation to enhance patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Utilize standards of nursing practice to ensure high-quality care and improve patient quality of life. Establish effective relationships with patients and families, developing personalized care plans. Apply the nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Consider physical, cultural, social, economic, spiritual, and other human factors in care management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively for holistic patient care. Educate patients and families on health maintenance, comfort, and recovery measures. Mentor colleagues and foster a positive, safe work environment. Perform point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent. Valid RN license and BLS certification in the state of practice. No prior experience required. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform necessary movements. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
