General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience in convenience store management or similar operations
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong leadership and team motivation skills
Excellent communication abilities and a positive, customer-focused attitude

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams of 10+ members
Experience succeeding in dynamic, high-traffic environments

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service
Maintain food quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction at all times
Achieve sales and profit targets by coaching team members and executing business strategies
Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain a clean, safe environment
Uphold food safety standards and coach others to do the same
Build relationships with guests to create memorable experiences
Manage staffing, development, and training to foster a positive workplace culture
Oversee communication, compliance, and execution of all company processes and policies
