Hadoop DeveloperLocation: Dearborn, MIContract Rate: $50-52/hr on C2CMinimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT disciplineMust have at least 5 years of IT development experience.Must have strong, hands-on J2EE developmentMust have indepth knowledge of SCALA – Spark programmingMust have 3+ years relevant professional experience working with Hadoop (HBase, Hive, MapReduce, Sqoop, Flume) Java, JavaScript, .Net, SQL, PERL, Python or equivalent scripting languageMust have experience with ETL toolsMust have experience integrating web servicesKnowledge of standard software development methodologies such as Agile and WaterfallStrong communication skillsMust be willing to flex work hours accordingly to support application launches and manage production outages if necessarySkills and Abilities:Ability to multitask with numerous projects and responsibilitiesExperience working with JIRA and WIKIMust have experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environmentMust have strong analytical and problem solving skillsMust have good verbal and written communication skillsMust be able and willing to participate as individual contributor as neededMust have ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines
