Ideal for a leader who has run a yard, distribution branch, or manufacturing plant in construction materials and can keep up with one of the busiest building markets in the country.GPAC is partnering with a confidential building materials company serving Texas's fast-moving construction market. Based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio, this leader will run a distribution branch or manufacturing plant, depending on the location, and be responsible for safety, efficiency, customer service, and financial performance.What You'll DoLead daily operations, including production or yard operations, inventory, warehouse, and deliveryKeep up with high-volume demand from Texas builders and contractors without giving up quality or serviceBuild a strong safety culture and keep the site compliant with company and regulatory standardsHire, train, develop, and keep a team of supervisors, operators, drivers, and staff in a competitive labor marketOwn the branch or plant P&L, budgets, and key performance metricsWork with sales to keep customers happy and grow the businessDrive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost controlWhat You Bring5+ years of operations experience in building materials, lumber, roofing, concrete, or a related manufacturing or distribution setting2+ years in a branch, plant, or operations management roleP&L experience and a strong grasp of operational metricsA proven ability to lead teams and build a safe, accountable cultureFamiliarity with a Texas market and its contractor and builder base (preferred)Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skillsLean or continuous-improvement experience is a plusWhy ApplyCompetitive base salary plus a performance bonusA leadership role with real ownership of results in a growing Texas marketA company that values operational excellenceConfidential conversations.
