Job Title Travel RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Location Santa Fe, NM | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 4 x 10-hour rotating shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | 2 weekends of on-call per month (Saturday/Sunday = 1 weekend) | One night call per week Key Responsibilities Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring clinical intervention Develop, implement, and evaluate a measurable, individualized plan of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and modify the plan of care accordingly Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning Float within surgical services as required and perform Point of Care testing procedures; document timely interventions using EPIC EMR Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Current New Mexico RN license or active Compact state license Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse Preferred Experience / Skills Prior PACU or surgical services nursing experience Experience with EPIC EMR National professional nursing certification or advanced nursing education (BSN or MSN) Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical services environment in the scenic Santa Fe, NM area on a 13-week travel contract with an immediate start Gain valuable experience floating within surgical services while working with a collaborative, patient-centered care team Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776342.
