1st Shift Trailer Assembler
Trailer Assemblers build component assemblies, as well as install and assemble trailers on a production line. Location: Mesquite, TX Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6 AM- 4:30 PM Pay rate: $16
Duties
- Install axles, tires, wiring, lights, and other components according to work orders and factory specifications.
- Ensure accurate fitment and proper assembly.
- Perform mechanical tasks following supervisor instructions.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
- Test equipment for proper functionality.
- Perform multiple manual assembly tasks and retain knowledge for future tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating hand tools such as torque wrenches, drills, hole saws, screw guns, and pliers.
- Comfortable performing repetitive motions, including bending, climbing, standing, and stooping.
- At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly.
- 1 year of mechanical and/or electrical experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
