Registered Nurse (RN)

Medical-Surgical Tele RN A Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN is needed for a contract assignment in Dansville, New York 14437. The position is based at 111 Clara Barton Street and provides 36 guaranteed hours per week on the overnight shift.
This 13-week opening requires prior medical-surgical experience together with cardiac rhythm and stroke-assessment capabilities. The start date is firm, quick-start documents must be ready, and the selected RN must live more than 50 miles from the work location.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients assigned to the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry service.
• Use EKG experience to support cardiac monitoring responsibilities.
• Assess patient status and communicate relevant changes to the care team.
• Complete required documentation and follow unit procedures.
• Maintain availability for the full overnight contract schedule.

Qualifications

• Medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• EKG experience.
• Current NIHSS certification.
• Residence more than 50 miles from the work location.
• Quick-start documents ready for submission.
