Duties

Help

• You will provide technical expertise on manpower, personnel, and training requirements, supporting project teams with workforce planning, resource decisions, and solutions that improve operational readiness and supportability.
• You will design and develop proposals, methods, and procedures for complex projects, applying human systems integration principles to improve supportability, training, maintainability, and overall project effectiveness.
• You will develop and review manpower and training plans, assess program requirements, and provide expert guidance to project teams on staffing, training resources, support needs, and the integration of required support elements.
• You will prepare statements of work and detailed requirements for training and support products, evaluate contractor proposals, and ensure deliverables address program objectives, training needs, and performance expectations.
• You will manage training products and events, assess training effectiveness, coordinate support with internal and external organizations, and ensure training resources are aligned with program requirements and workforce needs.
• You will research instructional technology and integration practices, participate in professional meetings and workshops, summarize findings, and present clear recommendations to leaders and project team members.

• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1. Knowledge of the maintenance Planning and Supply Elements of LCL, as well as the sustainment activities.

2. Ability to effectively use automated data systems to perform analyses and prepare documentation.

3. Ability to lead and participate on cross funtional teams with members from different organizations and commands.
