Medical Assistant – Orthopedics / Foot & Ankle
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20–$24/hour

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Foot & Ankle experience required
• Orthopedic experience strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy Orthopedic/Foot & Ankle practice. The MA will support a physician and physician assistant while assisting with patient care, rooming, documentation, and clinical procedures.

This is a high-volume practice where each Medical Assistant can expect to assist with approximately 30–50 patients per day . Multiple Medical Assistants are staffed per clinic to ensure quality patient care and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for examination
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Assist providers with procedures and treatments
• Coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
• Provide exceptional patient service and education

Practice Details

• Typical Provider Coverage: 1 Physician and 1 Physician Assistant
• Patient Volume: 30–50 patients per MA per day
• EMR: Centricity
• Multiple Medical Assistants assigned per clinic

• Bilingual skills not required
• X-ray license not required
