Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled OR RN to provide comprehensive perioperative care across multiple specialties. This role involves assisting in a fast-paced surgical environment with opportunities for cross-training into Endo procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery
• Assist surgeons during a variety of operative procedures, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained
• Operate and monitor advanced surgical equipment, including Baxter pumps and robotic systems
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery in the OR setting
• Document all clinical activities accurately and adhere to safety protocols
• Participate in call rotation, including weeknight and weekend shifts, to ensure 24/7 coverage

Qualifications:

• Hold an active, unexpired RN license with OR experience
• Demonstrate proficiency in all areas of the operating room, including vascular, general, ortho, neuro, eyes, and ENT surgeries
• Possess current ACLS certification due to sedation procedures
• Experience with robotic surgeries such as Phillips and Dynomap is highly preferred
• Ability to cross-train into Endo procedures and operate DaVinci Robot a plus
• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record
