The Ford, Hyundai, and Toyota Ken Garff dealerships in Cheyenne, WY are currently looking for a talented Human Resources Manager to work daily in the dealership environment that aligns with our core values - acts with r respect, i integrity, g growth, h humility, and t teamwork. This position will be on-site daily. The schedule is based on business need, generally Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm. The HR Manager will report to the Regional HR Manager. Here’s what you’ll be doing: This position manages processes and activities related to full-cycle Human Resources that contribute to positive business results! The HR Manager is a leader of positive employee experiences and fosters employee engagement through support of the company culture programs. Owns the hiring process from recruiting to onboarding - schedules and participates in interviews. Facilitates weekly onboarding, benefits enrollment, and new hire orientation activities. Initiates coaching and counseling to help managers proactively manage employee retention and performance. Handles leaves of absence processes and communication, including FMLA. Completes accident or injury reports and submits supporting documentation in a timely manner. Facilitates training in partnership with Regional HR and the business. Handles unemployment claims and other misc programs and processes based on business need. The ideal candidate will have the following desired qualifications: 2+ years of HR consulting and/or generalist experience; preference for large company and/or retail environment with both hourly and salary employees. SHRM-CP or PHR certification highly desired. Employee relations and leave of absence experience required. Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring experience preferred.
