Copywriter

Responsible for creating disruptive brand-building marketing concepts and copy in the unique CB2 voice for all marketing audiences and channels. This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Chicago, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. A day in the life as a Copywriter... Create engaging, informative, high-performing copy & content that supports business strategies across channels including email, organic and paid social, catalog, ecommerce, signage. Compose engaging headlines, scripts, long-form copy and social-first copy. Demonstrate the ability to think abstractly and produce fresh, persuasive and clear ideas. Consistently help push creative and bring new opportunities to the brand. Brainstorm creative campaign ideas with design partners. Deliver copy that embodies the unique CB2 voice and feels fresh, relevant and reflects our brand positioning. Remain current on trends and cultural influences that are important to our customers, particularly in the area of home design, décor and entertaining. Ability to collaborate with partners or work independently to develop content and concepts. Review metrics monthly to analyze copy effectiveness and apply data to copy strategy to maximize performance. Strong team-working skills to partner with art directors, designers and marketing team members. What you'll bring to the table..
