Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and compassionate Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional imaging services. List of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly and compassionately explaining each step of the process
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Ensure diligent documentation of procedures and upkeep of patient records within the electronic medical system
• Remain updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Required

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team
