Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Reston, VA
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking a rewarding OTR position that guarantees regular home time? Join American Trucking Group, where we offer extensive dry van routes in the Northeast, alongside top-notch equipment and competitive compensation. Enjoy the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a routine that allows you to be home weekly.
Home Time:
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset, ensuring time for family and personal pursuits.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems. You may take your truck and trailer home, provided there’s safe parking.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handling dry van freight, with 95% no-touch freight and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical work and maximizing your driving efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers can expect to earn an average of $1,150 per week, influenced by mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policies, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and a safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Covering routes throughout Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. All tolls are paid with EZ Pass and toll cards.

- Medical, dental, and vision insurance begin the first month after 60 days of employment. We also offer $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with age restrictions.
