Exciting Opportunity for a Travel Respiratory Therapist!


Are you a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist seeking an engaging travel assignment in a supportive rural healthcare setting? Look no further! Join our multidisciplinary team and make a significant difference in patients' lives by providing essential respiratory care services.


Deliver Comprehensive Respiratory Care:
Provide oxygen therapy, aerosol and humidity therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
Manage airway interventions, chest physiotherapy, arterial blood gas collection, and pulmonary function testing.
Support resuscitation efforts and engage in patient education.


Perform Cardiac and Diagnostic Testing:
Conduct cardiac stress tests, Holter monitoring, ECGs, EEGs, and other cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures.
Ensure accurate patient assessment, test preparation, and documentation.


Maintain Equipment and Clinical Readiness:
Ensure respiratory and diagnostic equipment is clean, functional, stocked, and available for patient care.
Collaborate with departments to address equipment maintenance and repair needs.


Ensure Documentation, Safety, and Quality Care:
Document treatments, procedures, patient responses, and test results in line with hospital policies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality standards.

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Current Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
Minimum of one year of respiratory therapy experience; two years preferred.
Experience in acute care, critical care, and emergency care strongly preferred.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
Ability to provide care across all age populations.

Located in a beautiful rural community in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.
Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
Reliable personal transportation is essential; arrange housing in advance and bring a vehicle.
Flu vaccination is required for all travelers, with no exceptions.
