Job Description
The CNA Certified plays a vital role in providing essential support and care within a long-term care facility. Primarily working day shifts, the CNA assists patients with daily living activities and collaborates closely with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs. Patient-to-CNA ratios vary by shift, with the CNA focusing on general care rather than specialized medical areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support patient mobility and transfers
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with patient care and vital signs measurement
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Demonstrated empathy and teamwork abilities
