•No. of Beds in Department: 32 ED Beds
•Trauma Level: High Acuity
•Office Equipment Available: Standard Emergency Department
•Specialty Backup Available: Hospital-Based Specialists
•Support Staff Available: 36 Hours Physician Coverage and 17 Hours NP/PA Coverage Daily

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
•Moderate Sedation
•Emergency Medicine Procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Active Mississippi Medical License
•Board Certified or Board Eligible in EM, FM, or IM
•Active DEA with Mississippi Address and Applicable Schedules
•ACLS, ATLS, and PALS if not EM Board Certified or EM Trained
•Experience: Over 2,000 ED or Acute Care Contact Hours Within the Past 2 Years
•Other Qualifications: Completed 3-Year EM, FM, or IM Residency; 40 CME Hours in Previous 2 Years; Case Logs for Previous 2 Years; Supervising/Backup Physician for NP/PAs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
•Perform moderate sedation and emergency procedures
•Supervise or provide backup for NP and PA providers
•Document patient encounters and coordinate multidisciplinary care
•Deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
