Medical Biller/Collections Specialist - eClinicalWorks Required

- Experience in Payment Posting, ERA's, Appeals for Medicare, Anthem, United HealthCare, Cigna and EmblemHealth
- Responsible for a range of tasks associated with generating and managing medical records for all billable activities
- Reviewing physicians' notes and charts for accuracy
- Obtaining any necessary clarification of information on the notes and charts
- Prepare claims
- Submit, organize and track all insurance claims filed by providers
- Follow-up until payment is received, and manage collections activities when necessary
- Will ensure service excellence by becoming thoroughly familiar with the "Seven Competencies" and putting them into practice in carrying out the job responsibilities
- Will conform to all applicable HIPAA, billing compliance and safety requirements
