Must be able to perform all tasks in safe and responsible manner.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for writing programs in Fusion/Icam to accomplish various machining operations as per the required sequence and dimensions of the jobSelect, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machinesCalculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, and depth and angel of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media; Facilitate work order paper flow in accordance with company standardsInspection of parts is requiredConduct CNC and Robot training as assignedMust have tooling and insert change experienceMust be able to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.Must have experience with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators.Experience with vertical measuring machines a plus.Make tool offsetsCall up and modify existing and new programsAdjust work coordinatesPrepare tools and fixturingMachine Tending as neededMust be able to report to work as scheduled and on timeOther duties as assignedSkills and/or Competencies:Mastercam, G-code and AutoCAD experience preferredA minimum of 4 Years’ experience setting up CNC machining centersEducation/Experience:Must have at least 5 years of experience programming in MasterCAM for vertical milling machinesHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical Demands and Working Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
