IV Registered Nurse (RN)

Benefits/Perks Flexible Scheduling Competitive Compensation Job Summary We are urgently looking for Registered Nurses in NYC, Orange County, Dutches County, Ulster County and CT to care for our patients with PICC dressing change and blood draws, IV fluids teachings or TPN teachings, IVIG other IVs medications. The position requires you to travel to the patients location. You must be skilled at starting / stopping IVs if required, PICC Line dressing changes, Lab draws, skilled at trouble shooting and preventing adverse events, strong clinical thinker, recognizing when to call MD, 911, caring for IV pumps. Responsibilities Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice Start IV hydration if ordered Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, IVs etc.) and fill in patients’ charts Provide treatments according to physician’s orders using nursing standards of care. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients Perform skilled nursing IVIG infusions and clinical tasks associated with patient infusion home care. Submits nursing progress notes including admission and assessments per policy in a timely manner. Prepares/compounds sterile admixtures per MD orders for immediate use when required To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong penchant for solving problems. Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with supervisor Qualifications Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is required Excellent interpersonal and client care skillsValid driver’s license First aid/CPR certification required #J-18808-Ljbffr MorLux Nurse Concierge PLLC
