Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting for critically ill newborns. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting families and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer flu vaccines to eligible patients following proper protocols.
• Monitor and assess neonatal patients for stability and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Educate families on neonatal care, discharge instructions, and vaccination protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with current state certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric or Neonatal nursing, preferably in a level 3 NICU.
• Demonstrates proficiency in neonatal assessment, IV therapy, and use of NICU equipment.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
