Bar Manager

Jupiter Hospitality LLC is hiring a Bar Manager to lead bar operations for their exciting new wedding venue opening in September 2026 in Hockley, TX. With more than 150 weddings already booked in its first year, this is an incredible opportunity to build bar operations from the ground up and play a key leadership role in a high-volume hospitality venue. As Bar Manager, you'll oversee inventory, train and manage bartenders, ensure exceptional event execution, and maintain compliance while delivering outstanding guest experiences across the wedding venue and hotel. What You'll Do Lead all day-to-day bar operations for weddings and events Manage alcohol inventory, ordering, and stock levels Organize and maintain the bar, storage areas, and equipment Prepare batched cocktails and stock beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages for upcoming events Track glassware inventory and ensure adequate supplies Train, schedule, coach, and supervise the bartender team Manage bar service during weddings and private events Coordinate bartender assignments and delegate responsibilities during service Operate the POS system and maintain accurate bar records Ensure compliance with all TABC regulations and responsible alcohol service Review event timelines, bar details, and schedules before each event Maintain cleanliness throughout the bar, kitchen, storage areas, equipment, and outdoor bar spaces Oversee maintenance of ice machines, kegerators, dishwashers, refrigerators, and bar equipment What We're Looking For 3+ years of bar management experience Strong inventory management and ordering experience Experience leading and developing bar teams Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Availability to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules Why You'll Love Working Here Starting pay from $40/hour Health insurance 401(k) Opportunity to help launch a brand-new hospitality destination Work in a beautiful wedding venue and boutique hotel environment About the Workplace Jupiter Hospitality LLC is launching a premier wedding venue and hotel experience in Hockley, Texas. #J-18808-Ljbffr OysterLink
