This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients in the Neuro-Vascular Intensive Care Unit (NVICU). The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering compassionate patient care. Unit Information Number of Beds: 16 Number of Staff: 46 Patient Ratios: Estimated 2:1 Type of Equipment: Standard ICU equipment Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Work Schedule This position requires the nurse to work at least 4 weekends during each schedule period. Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM are preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the NVICU. Perform critical procedures including central line and A-line placements, intubation, and EVD placement. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in patient status. Qualifications Required: ICU experience is mandatory. ACLS certification. Preferred: Experience with Meditech EMR. Floating Areas The role may require floating to various ICUs, BMT, and PCU floors as needed.
