Coordinator - Human Resources

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This role will support key HR functions with a primary focus on benefits and general HR administration. Benefits Administration Assist the HR Benefits Director and HR Benefits Generalist with day‑to‑day benefits administration, including enrollments, leave of absence, qualifying life events, and employee inquiries. Conduct new‑hire benefits orientation, ensuring employees understand available plans, eligibility, and enrollment processes. Support annual open enrollment process, including communication, tracking, and system updates. Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including but not limited to monthly ACA reconciliation. Maintain and update the firm’s Wellness Newsletter, including gathering content, drafting updates, and coordinating distribution. Support wellness‑related initiatives, events, and communications throughout the year. Onboarding and Offboarding Assist the HR team with new hire onboarding and offboarding processes. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records and HR systems. Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed. Other Help coordinate HR events and activities across multiple office locations. Support special HR projects and initiatives as they arise. Ad hoc projects and administrative support as needed. Qualifications Must be able to work in‑office a minimum of 3 days per week. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required. 0‑1+ years of HR experience or a completed HR internship, with exposure to benefits administration strongly preferred. Must have a strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources. Experience working in a public accounting or professional services firm a plus. Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills are essential. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and communication skills. Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required. Familiarity with HRIS systems; UKG experience strongly preferred. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with various team members and stakeholders. Willingness and ability to travel to other PKFOD office locations as business needs require, via personal vehicle or public transit. Compensation & Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 - $67,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
