Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Lead pharmacy operations as the Director of Pharmacy at a prominent 656-bed medical center in Tulsa, OK, featuring specialized services such as a burn center, women’s health, cancer treatment, rehabilitation, and cardiac care. Schedule:

• 8 hours per day, day shift

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, control, and supervise hospital pharmacy operations according to policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements
• Recommend practice innovations and execute corporate initiatives in partnership with Administration
• Support, mentor, and oversee clinical pharmacists and support staff
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and safety/infection control standards
• Set and communicate quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals aligned with hospital objectives
• Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluation, retention, and if needed, termination of pharmacy personnel
• Maintain policies and procedures and facilitate ongoing staff education and competency assessments
• Foster teamwork among pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and other departments to enhance patient care and organizational goals

Qualifications:

• B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Minimum three years of hospital pharmacy experience; two years in leadership
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with state board
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hirePreferred:
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
• Five or more years hospital pharmacy experience
• ALS/ACLS certification (required if responding to Code Blue)
