Occupational Therapy Assistant

Role: Under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all ages within an interdisciplinary framework. Supervises students, volunteers, and observers. Develops individualized therapy plans following accepted practices. Performs physical activities including frequent location and position changes, assisting with patient care. Requires physical strength to lift/push loads up to 50 pounds, mobility, stamina, and ability to handle emergency situations. May be exposed to infectious diseases, toxic chemicals, and irregular hours; may need to wear protective equipment. Qualifications & Skills: Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations, strong physical fitness, and adherence to safety protocols.
