The COTA will provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, helping residents improve their ability to perform daily activities, maintain independence, and enhance their overall quality of life. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-centered, and committed to providing individualized care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, feeding, and functional mobility. Provide therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve strength, coordination, range of motion, balance, and functional independence. Assist residents with fine motor, upper-extremity, cognitive, and functional skills as appropriate. Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress or changes in condition to the Occupational Therapist and appropriate clinical staff.
