The Accountant III is responsible for processing and reconciling monthly surcharge collections, as well as coordinating related payments to airports and taxing authorities. This role involves analyzing, reconciling, and adjusting various balance sheet accounts, and preparing monthly journal entries as part of the month-end close process. What You'll Do Compute and report monthly surcharge collections and accompanying payments to our airports and taxing authorities. Analyze and reconcile various account reconciliations relating to surcharge collections. Analyze various inventory, prepaid and other account analysis. Prepare monthly journal entries. Review accounting statements (P&L and balance sheets). Assist on various AdHoc projects and department responsibilities. Acts as liaison with the properties department and the landlords to ensure proper payments are being processed in a timely manner. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
