Schedule: Rotating Shifts; 40 Hours Per Week

We are seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Pharmacist will support hospital pharmacy operations while ensuring safe, accurate, and effective medication management in accordance with established pharmacy practices and regulatory requirements.

Candidates must have an active Hawaii Pharmacist license before the assignment begins and be available for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Review and process medication orders accurately and in accordance with established pharmacy standards and policies.

• Support safe medication preparation, dispensing, verification, and distribution for hospitalized patients.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and patient care needs.

• Monitor medication-related concerns and promote appropriate, safe, and effective medication use.

• Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and support departmental operations during rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts.

• Pharmacist Candidates With Less Than 1 Year of Experience May Be Considered.

• Current, Active Hawaii Pharmacist License Required Prior to the Start of the Assignment.

• Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy Program and Eligibility to Practice as a Pharmacist Required.

• Ability to Work Rotating Shifts, Including Weekends and Holidays, Required.

• Ability to Work a Full-Time 40-Hour Weekly Schedule and Perform Hospital Pharmacy Responsibilities Required.
