We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital improvement and operational projects within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for managing projects from concept through completion, including facility expansions, plant consolidations, equipment relocations, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is an organized leader with strong engineering knowledge and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Job Details

Lead multiple manufacturing and capital projects from planning through execution and completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
Coordinate cross functional teams, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Manage Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing projects, including facility expansions and equipment installations.
Oversee equipment relocation, startup, commissioning, and project implementation.
Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues to maintain project timelines.
Manage project budgets, costs, forecasting, and financial performance.
Review project deliverables and ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.
Lead project meetings and communicate updates to leadership and project teams.
Manage electrical, mechanical, and construction contractors while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process enhancements.
Mentor project team members and promote accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
PMP certification preferred.
5 to 10 years of project management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience managing both Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing projects.
Strong understanding of capital equipment, facility expansions, manufacturing processes, and industrial construction.
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
