Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Manage patient care for Med/Tele Overflow, including CHF, COPD, and Stroke symptoms
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and perform trach care
• Handle chest tube management, NGT placement, and drain management
• Administer and manage medication drips, including cardiac drips and Heparin
• Collaborate with CNAs, Charge Nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Float to various units within region and scope of practice as needed

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Minimum 18 months of experience in Med/Tele RN (Resource Team requirement)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• General Med/Tele skillset including stroke experience and cardiac rhythm interpretation
