Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with store personnel and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor assigned areas for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns, and report observations according to post instructions.
• Support access control and closing or opening routines as assigned, including observing delivery areas, restricted spaces, and/or high-traffic locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
