Desired Skills and Background:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and active SLP licensure for the state
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs may be considered
• Experience providing evaluation and intervention services to school-aged children
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Commitment to ethical practice and cultural competency
• Familiarity with IEPs and compliance procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
• Maintain accurate documentation for progress reports and IEP meetings
• Consult with educators, families, and other therapists to support student outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Offer guidance and training to school staff on communication needs
