What is the Opportunity?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Data Analytics, to join ourData Content and Modeling team. This role focuses on documenting data requirements, identifying gaps, and supporting the registration, ingestion, and consumption of datasets to meet business needs, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance overall data quality and governance.

What will you do?

• Document data requirementsand identify gaps in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Standardize dataacross multiple domains, ensuring consistency in formats and definitions.

• Develop and maintaindata catalogsusing industry-standard tools to improve data discoverability and transparency.

• Definedata formatsand integration processes to support standardized reporting and system interoperability.

• Mapsystem lineage, data flows, and control pointsto ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.

• Collaborate with teams to designtarget operating modelsand implement robustdata governance practices.

• Analyzedata quality issuesand recommend solutions to enhance accuracy and completeness.

• Participate inAgile Scrum ceremoniesto prioritize tasks, track progress, and align with project goals.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must-have:

• Bachelor's degreein business, finance, data science, engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, system analysis, and process implementation.

• Proven experiencein data analysis, system administration, or data governance roles.

• Proficiency in SQLand ability to createentity-relationship diagrams (ERDs).

• Familiarity withdatabase models, data mapping, and integration techniques.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with collaboration tools likeJIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-have:

• Postgraduate certificationin data management, analytics, or a related field.

• Knowledge ofindustry data standards(e.g., ISO 20022, FpML, CDM).

• Advanced understanding ofchange managementand business process optimization.

• Experience withAgile methodologiesand DevOps practices.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $120,000-$200,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
