A-Line Staffing is hiring a Contract, Material Handler/Inventory Coordinator in Manassas, VA! This role is currently for four months! There is possibility for being hired on, but they want you to know it is starting off as a temporary position.

We are seeking a dependable and organized Material Handler / Inventory Coordinator to support parts organization and inventory management in Manassas, VA.

This position will primarily focus on organizing and improving a parts storage area, sorting inventory, transporting materials, and maintaining accurate inventory information. The role combines hands-on warehouse/material handling responsibilities with basic computer and administrative tasks.

Training will be provided to help ensure success in the position.

Material Handler / Inventory Coordinator Compensation

·         The pay for this position is $20/hr

·         Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

·         A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Material Handler / Inventory Coordinator Highlights

·         This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

• Required Availability: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Material Handler / Inventory Coordinator Responsibilities

·         Organize and sort parts and inventory within an attic warehouse/storage environment

·         Identify usable versus non-usable parts and materials

·         Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage area

·         Receive and manage incoming parts and deliveries

·         Transport materials from receiving docks to designated storage locations

·         Safely use pallet jacks, dollies, electric lifts, elevators, and other material-handling equipment

·         Maintain accurate inventory and update information as needed

·         Assist with improving the overall organization and efficiency of the parts storage area

·         Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams for daily tasks and communication

·         Follow established safety procedures and workplace guidelines

Material Handler / Inventory Coordinator Requirements:

• Ability to safely lift and move 50+ pounds
• Comfortable performing a physically demanding role involving lifting, moving, sorting, and transporting materials
• Good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision after training
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependable and safety-conscious

• Material handling
• Inventory control
• Warehouse operations
• Parts management
• Stockroom or storage organization
• Shipping/receiving
• Warehouse or material-handling equipment
