After Hours Pediatrics provides urgent care for children when families need support beyond the traditional clinic day. Our team delivers after-hours pediatric care during evenings, weekends, and holidays, with board-certified pediatricians and on-site lab and X-ray services that help families get timely answers and treatment. In this role, you will help create a responsive, reassuring first point of contact for parents and caregivers seeking care information and next steps. As a Live Chat Agent, you will support families with clear communication, help them navigate the visit process, and ensure important concerns are routed quickly to the right clinical team members. Responsibilities Respond to patient and parent inquiries through live chat promptly and professionally. Triage common questions and direct urgent concerns to appropriate clinical staff. Schedule appointments and assist families with registration and intake information. Provide accurate information about services, hours, insurance, and visit preparation. Document chat interactions clearly and escalate complex issues when needed. 1+ year of experience handling patient or customer inquiries in a chat-based support environment. Experience with appointment scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification processes. Experience using EHR systems. Experience recognizing urgent concerns and escalating them appropriately to clinical staff.
