Tax Accountant

Job Responsibilities Responsible for analyzing transactions and preparing federal and state income tax returns for our client corporation and its subsidiaries Prepares and files federal and state income tax returns, estimated payments, extensions, claims, and all related documentation in compliance with relevant deadline Assists in the maintenance and verification of payment and accrual records to ensure accurate federal and state tax reporting Reviews income statement and balance sheet activity to determine the appropriate tax treatment under federal and state regulation Supports special studies and projects related to federal and state tax planning initiative Assists in the development of income tax accruals and related workpapers in accordance with current tax laws and regulations, as well as financial reporting requirement Prepares supporting documentation for federal and state tax positions and responds to audit and regulatory inquiries as needed Job Related Experience Preferred Level: 1-3 ye Education Preferred Level: Bachelor's Degree (BS, BA, MBA, MS) Preferred Majors Accounting Business Accounting - Taxation Economics Licenses / Certificates Nice to have: Certified Public Accountant #J-18808-Ljbffr Aptonet
