Full Time Professional Massillon, OH, US About the Role: As a Corporate Recruiter within the construction industry, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent to support the company’s growth and project demands across the United States. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from crafting compelling job descriptions to sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process in alignment with corporate goals. Your efforts will directly impact the company’s ability to build a skilled and diverse workforce that meets the technical and cultural needs of the organization. Collaborating closely with HR teams, you will develop strategic recruitment plans tailored to various construction roles, ensuring timely and effective talent acquisition. Ultimately, your work will contribute to maintaining the company’s competitive edge by ensuring that the right people are in place to deliver high-quality construction projects safely and efficiently. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the construction or related industries. Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws in the United States. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software, preferably ADP Workforce Now. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience recruiting for technical and skilled trade roles within construction. Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent. Familiarity with diversity and inclusion recruitment strategies. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of labor market trends specific to the construction sector. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for a variety of construction-related positions. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating with hiring managers. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through proactive sourcing methods such as networking, job fairs, and online platforms. Collaborate with department leaders to understand hiring needs and provide guidance on market trends, salary benchmarks, and candidate availability. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports to track hiring metrics and improve processes. Promote the company’s employer brand to attract diverse and high-caliber talent. Facilitate candidate onboarding and ensure a smooth transition into the organization. Skills: The required skills enable the recruiter to efficiently manage the entire hiring process, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring compliance and alignment with company goals. Strong communication skills are essential for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers, facilitating clear and effective exchanges of information. Proficiency with ATS and recruitment tools allows for streamlined candidate tracking and data management, improving recruitment efficiency.
