Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of professional level of nursing duties for patients served in the clinical areas noted below.
Qualifications
Education
- Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited program of nursing
- Associate's degree in nursing
- Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Master's degree in nursing
Experience:
- Preferred
- Two (2) or more years of experience in nursing
Certification/Licensure:
- Emergency Department
- Required
- Registered Nurse (RN), with Authorization to Practice in the State of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within ninety (90) days of start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Required within one (1) year of start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) Certification Required within one (1) year of start date
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required within one (1) year of start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Required within two (2) years of start date
- Preferred
- Relevant national certification
