Journeyman Electrician Commercial & Industrial

• Typical schedule is 4 ten-hour shifts (4/10s). We are currently working 6/10s, with additional overtime available as project demands require. Work schedules may change based on customer needs.

What You'll Do

• Install EMT conduit ranging from 3/4" to 4"
• Install and terminate conductors ranging from #14 through 750 MCM
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Perform commercial and industrial electrical installations safely and efficiently
• Perform energized work and troubleshooting periodically

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must:

• Hold a current Idaho Journeyman Electrician License
• Own the basic hand tools required for the trade
• Be able to bend and install EMT conduit
• Read and understand electrical blueprints and drawings
• Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Lift 50+ pounds on a non-repetitive basis
• Work with hands overhead for extended periods
• Work safely from ladders and elevated work platforms
• Work at heights up to 50 feet while using required fall protection
• Access crawl spaces, mechanical areas, and confined spaces as required
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Conduit bending from " through 4", including hydraulic table benders and Triple Nickel benders
• Installation of cable tray, basket tray, gutters, and Wiremold systems
• Semiconductor, clean room, server room, or ESD environments
• Industrial safety training and NFPA 70E experience
