Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An experienced Pharmacy Technician is needed for a specialty mail-order pharmacy focused on HIV and Hepatitis medications, located in Largo, MD. This opportunity offers a full-time contract position Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a strong potential to transition into a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fulfill specialty medication orders in a fast-paced environment
- Utilize strong data entry skills to maintain patient and prescription records
- Support pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to optimize patient care
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician registration required
- Minimum 1+ year of recent pharmacy technician experience
- Previous fulfillment experience preferred
- Retail, mail-order, or specialty pharmacy background is a plus
- PTCB certification preferred but not mandatory
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
