Our in-house training opportunities can help to get you started; the next step is up to you.Responsibilities:Deburr, wash, and prepare all cylinders and components for paintPaint all cylinders with sprayer with various types of coatings: primers, epoxy paint, CARC paintPrepare cylinders for painting by removing old paint, rust, grease, dirt and other debris.Mask and protect parts that are not to be paintedMix paint according to manufacturer's specificationsInspect painted cylinders for quality of workmanship, noting and runs, sags, and unpainted areas and corrects as neededOperate all equipment in a safe manner in accordance with company policiesMaintain and wears all PPE in accordance with company policiesComply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management immediatelyMaintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop clean and organizedOther duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications/Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentAble to prioritize jobs.Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.Mechanical backgroundAbility to read basic blueprints.Able to read a tape measure and calipersPrior industrial painting experience is a mustCARC painting experience preferredQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
