We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform assigned work independently and as part of a teamPerforms typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the entire facility.Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionPerforms prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as requiredUse a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing dutiesRuns motorized sweeper throughout the facility and trains all facilities maintenance on this equipmentExperience in building maintenance, plant maintenance or general maintenanceEnsure facilities area and work areas are kept clean and orderly.Understand and perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actionQualificationsDependable, punctual, detail oriented, good communication skills verbal and written.Ability to read/write in English is preferred and bilingual is preferredHigh School education or equivalent preferredMinimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in a leadership roleProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experienced in IBM business systemAbility to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach, stand and lift at least 75lbsAble to comply with all company policies and procedures, including all safety regulations.Ability to follow Supervisors instructions/directions as given.Possess the following skills: problem solving, teamwork, communication, leadership and initiative.Ability to provide leadership in the areas of communication, conflict resolution and problem solvingAbility to drive continuous improvement (demonstrate initiative and follow through)Demonstrated ability to work and motivate Associates and have a strong attention to detailsAdditional InformationSite Location: 1780 Westfork Dr. Lithia Springs, GA, 30122Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
