Senior Director ITC- Strategic Licensing

Job Description Summary The Senior Director – ITC, Strategic Licensing will be part of the ITC Leadership Team responsible for advising the ITC Executive Leader and setting the strategic vision for obtaining export authorizations for GE Aerospace. This critical role will be responsible for, among other things, (a) developing export licensing strategies for new product/program campaigns, (b) managing and leading GE Aerospace business-facing licensing teams (c) supporting global engagement and activity as required, and enhancing the Company’s systems and procedures to optimally manage export registrations and authorizations. In addition, this role will be responsible for monitoring proposed regulatory changes and providing advice to business stakeholders regarding implications on GE Aerospace business strategy.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the GE Aerospace export licensing and operations teams across all business divisions and subsidiaries.
• Set the strategic vision and oversee the procurement of all business critical export authorizations;
• Lead engagement and communication with government officials, as required
• Ensure GE Aerospace export authorizations are compliant with ITAR and EAR requirements and address U.S. national security/ foreign disclosure policy requirements (e.g., LO/CLO, National Security Disclosure Policy 1, etc.);
• Engage with senior business leaders/ program managers/ business functional leaders to identify needs and utilize trade compliance expertise to identify / optimize export authorizations needed to achieve global growth objectives;
• Partner with USG and industry counterparts to monitor export authorization trends and industry best practices;
• Monitor proposed authorization-related laws and regulations and provide advice to business stakeholders regarding implications and requirements on GE Aerospace business strategy;
• Drive enhancements of technology, systems and procedures to optimize management of authorizations and ensure compliance with all required activity under the GE Aerospace ITAR registration
• Collaborate with ITC Leadership to drive continuous improvement;
• Undertake special projects and support other compliance program continuous improvement initiatives; and
• Apply Flight Deck and AI to help optimize the preparation and submission of our export authorizations to government agencies.
• Embed trade compliance requirements into business operations and decisions.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 12 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 14 years of professional experience
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in International Trade Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, or a related discipline in a complex global organization
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

The base pay range for this position is $181,000 - $241,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on October 25th, 2026.
