HVAC Technician

We are interviewing for a full-time HVAC Technician in the Lubbock West Texas area. The HVAC Technician is responsible for the inspection and control of all preventive maintenance and repair of building and facility mechanical systems and related services. A successful candidate will foster teamwork, cooperation, and results while monitoring efficiency, productivity and fiscal responsibility. This position may require travel to other locations within the contract. Job Duties Knowledge of contractual requirements and creation of schedules. Utilizes Tsheets timekeeping daily, logging in and out for lunch. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and maintain organization. Maintains, repairs and ensures all equipment is in proper working condition including HVAC systems, water treatment systems and emergency generator systems and various other mechanical systems. Orders replacement items through purchasing, and works with vendors regarding repairs to existing equipment. Submits receipts on a weekly basis to the corporate office for processing. Perform any additional duties on an "as required" basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual responsibilities. Issue reports and summaries as required. Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes. Resolves clients' concerns, conducts follow-up calls and makes onsite visit inspections for satisfactory job performance. Create estimates as needed. Familiar with RS Means. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience in the Operations & Maintenance of building operational systems including HVAC, Fire Suppression Systems, Environmental (including Oil Water Separator Servicing) and Water Treatment procedures. Proficient with MS Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project); possesses outstanding written and oral communication skills.
